Well another holiday season came and went. It was lots of fun this year. We had Christmas at the farm which is always my favorite place to spend Christmas. Had way too much good food, the boys got great gifts and we had lots of laughs. We had a few quick days back home before we headed off to Alberta for the second half of the holiday season. We had a wonderful time there as well, lots of fun ringing in the New Year with the Friesen's. Thank you for spoiling all of us! Over the holidays Nixon started crawling which is exciting but brings with it a whole new dynamic at home. If its possible the house is even crazier, Cohen runs like mad pretending Nixon is chasing him....3 or 4 minutes later Nixon comes crawling behind him, head down with sheer determination. Its quite the game. Since New Years I am busy preparing to go back to work. Looking for child care and a job are priority one now, no more staying home warm and cozy with my boys every day. All good things must come to an end.....have to help pay those bills for while.
Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. All the best in 2010!

A little somthing to get you in the spirit

Just a little something to help everyone get in the spirit. We are certainly in the Christmas spirit around here. I'm trying very hard to teach Cohen and Nixon about Christmas. So far Cohen is preoccupied with the "scary Grinch". I'll keep working on it.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!!

Sorry I've taken so long to post. November was a big month in our family. On Nov. 8th Tyler and I took off to Dominican Republic for Lynette and Ivan's wedding. We spent an incredible week there. We stayed at the Dreams Resort and Spa in Puta Cana which we would highly recommend. There was a group of 18 of us and we all had a blast. The boys stayed with Donny and Diana. Thank you again, I know it was a busy week for you. They both seemed right at home at grandma and grandpa's when we got back.

After coming back from our trip we were busy getting ready for Lynette and Ivan's reception in Gravelbourg on Nov 28th. Once again we had a great time and this time the boys got in on the action. Cohen danced the night away and as you can guess, Nixon slept right through the dance.

The boys are both doing really well. They are currently battling a minor cold but thankfully have not come down with anything more serious during this horrible flu season. Cohen is getting so grown up and Nixon is so close to crawling. We are getting very excited for Christmas, and as of this morning....WE HAVE SNOW!

P.S. We have some flying furry visitors living in our attic. If anyone out there has tips or suggestions on getting them to find alternate lodging we would appreciate it.

Hope all is well and safe driving in this new snow.
